Our Story
Building lives;
Transforming communities
Dreambuilders centre4change was founded in 2020 during Covid-19, but its roots go back to 2013 when Dreambuilders Church Melbourne (then Destiny Centre Church) launched a bold local mission to change lives for good.
From these beginnings, we grew into a centre offering residential rehab programs, day programs, and community-based support. In just one year, we supported over 40 individuals and their families through our Transformations residential program.
When Covid-19 disrupted our plans to launch a women’s day program, we responded with change4life online, later expanding to include The Sanctuary, our women’s residential house. Today, we provide day programs, residential homes for men, group activities, and counselling and therapy programs for people whose lives are out of control.
Our team includes qualified professionals and dedicated volunteers—many of them graduates of our own programs—working alongside local doctors, counsellors, and healthcare providers to ensure each recovery journey is personalised.
As a faith-based, tax-deductable, not-for-profit registered charity, our mission is simple: to build lives, restore hope, and transform communities.
